The Big Green Switch is delighted to have been nominated in the "Inform and educate" category of this year's New Statesman New Media Awards.

We've been working hard to constantly improve and develop the site over the past 11 months and, with the help of you, our fantastic visitors, we're proud to have created what we feel is a clear, fair and positive online community and information portal where anyone keen to live a greener lifestyle can find all the advice and knowledge they need.

The NMA Awards nomination particularly acknowledges the Big Green Switch's efforts in trying to cut through the hype and confusion around green living and put all the relevant information before consumers and encourage them to form their own conclusions and join the debate through interactivity.
